Russell B. McGuire, 83, of Philipsburg, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. Born February 7, 1932 in Philipsburg, he was a son of the late Russell B. McGuire Sr. & Verna (Fleck) McGuire Swisher. Russell was a veteran of the US Air Force and served during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Hummel) McGuire; two sisters Jean E. Shoffner of Philipsburg and Mona Rougeux of Chester Hill; and three brothers John F. McGuire of Kylertown, William 'Stanley' McGuire of West Decatur and Edward L. McGuire and his wife Cindy of Morrisdale RD. All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N.
